Hornet Golfers improve by 8 shots

The Lady Hornets improved by 8 shots as a team even though the team was shorthanded to do illness and injury. The Lady Hornets only played with 4 golfers, leaving no room for error as all four scores had to count for the team competition.  The hornets shot 224 in a very tough 13 team

JV Golf finishes 2nd at Derby- 3 players in top 7

3/5 JV players finished in the top 7 overall in their  debut tournament. The Lady Hornets finished 2nd and several won individuals medals as well: Elena Schmelze 53 (2nd overall), Alyssa Turner 55 (5th) and Kaci Kipp 57 (7th) The Hornets finished 2nd as a team with a score of 232.

Lady Hornet Golf opens season with 3rd place finish

The Lady Hornet Golf team opened the season at Augusta with a 232, good enough for 3rd place. Mati Newman led the Hornets with a 54.For many of these girls this was their first ever golf tournament. They are off to a fine start!
