With winds up to 35 mph during the better part of the day, the Varsity boys put down a 385 to place 7th overall out of 12 teams. With the lowest score being a 71 overall from Wellington, it was obvious this tournament was stacked with good teams. Our overall issue throughout the day was just fighting the wind with longer shots. Caden Bastian came in with a 90, Colby Byers 91, Mason Hamm 99, Camden Waterson 105, Holden McDaniel 115, and Lejer McDaniel 116. Overall, Coach Edwards pretty impressed with how well the kids played being so young and being the first year of golf for a majority of them. The future this year will be positive and a lot to look forward to.
