Sub Varsity Football Loses a Pair of Home Games

The Freshman football team played at home against Ark City’s Freshmen/Sophomore team.  The Hornets lost 42-22.  Ark City quickly opened up to 14 point lead; one touchdown on their opening play from scrimmage, and the second after a Valley Center  fumble.  Valley Center answered with a nice scoring drive capped off with a Camryn Kaufman

Newman Shoots 88, Places 17th at 5A State Golf

  Seven inches of rain fell in the last week in Hesston to make for a wet day of golf for Mati Newman at the 5A State Tournament. Out of 87 golfers across the state of Kansas, VCHS sent one to compete with the best of the best. Mat Newman was 11 over after her

21-15 Regular Season record

The Lady Hornets wrapped up regular-season play tonight with the loss against Goddard. It was a close first match and the Hornets played well; with a score of 24-26. During the second match the Hornets lost momentum and energy resulting in a score of 18-25.  Their overall record for the regular season was 21-15.  The

State Tennis results

We tied Newton for 14th place out of 21 schools participating. Singles: Jessica Sharp – being a regional champion was seeded 4th (D region), had a 1st round bye; lost to Brayden Steven of Bishop Carroll 3-6,0-6; defeated Bailey Ramsdell of DeSoto 9-3; lost to Emma Wituk of Maize 4-9; did not place.   Mallory Feather

VCMS 8A WSL Postseason Tourney Champs
