Multiple Teams · No Spectators at USD 262 Events starting Nov. 23rd

As we know, activities play a vital role in the success and well-being of our student-athletes. While COVID-19 has presented many challenges, district leaders are taking significant steps to continue providing many opportunities for students for as long as possible.  We are cautiously proceeding with winter sports while we monitor our community and school. While we want patrons to be able to support our student-athletes in person, doing so at this time presents a greater risk to not only participants, but other spectators as well.

Due to the recent developments, USD 262 will not allow spectators to attend student athletic events hosted at USD 262 schools and/or facilities beginning Monday (November 23) and until further notice. Visitors also will not be permitted to gather on school property before, during, or after games/practices.

Live streaming for events can be found for the High School on the NFHS Network/Youtube and for the Middle School on the application Periscope (Basketball, Wrestling).  Parents dropping off or picking up athletes need to stay in their vehicles and not gather in the parking lots.

While we know this may present hardships, we will continue to work together mitigating the spread of COVID-19 while giving our student-athletes the best chance at participating this season.  Thank you for your continued support.
