VCHS Grabs Lead In Fifth Inning For Victory Over Andover to Clinch the Regional Championship
VCHS defeated Andover 5-2 on Monday after taking the lead late in the game. They were down 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Wylie Glover doubled and drove in three runs.
Glover led with two hits in two at bats.
The Hornets clinched their third-straight Regional Title with this win and will move on to the State Tournament, which will be held at TRYC in Wichita on Thursday (5/25) and Friday (5/26) next week.
